It’s been a slow week for good reading, as I’ve been buried under an avalanche of work, but I’ve got at least one interesting article for you today.
Canada Is Building a Surveillance Network in Space. Space is getting super crowded, to the point where it’s difficult to tell what’s up there. I am anti-militarization of space, but I do find it fascinating that these old telescopes, retired to rust, provide a unique point of view on what’s on orbit, and are being revitalized. I’ve seen a few of these towering in the wilderness, and they are impressive structures evocative of a bygone era.
