There are moments in the automotive industry that stand out as clear turning points for brands that were unable to tell which way the wind was blowing. The Navicross debut is one such moment, a segment-busting vehicle not unlike the original Lexus RX300, itself a crossover icon, that might have changed the fortunes of a Lincoln brand on the verge of a decade or two wandering the luxury wilderness. Lincoln is only recently recovering (and strongly) from the road not taken.
