2026 marks the first time my comic writing work is included in an anthology, or indeed any project, that I didn’t originate. The Holiday Spirits – Monsters Special is a 150-page book currently on Kickstarter filled with stories of cryptids, beasts, and fantastical beings, all centered around a holiday theme. It’s assembled by Travis Gibb of Orange Cone Productions.
My contribution to Holiday Spirits is a tale about the Mothman, long a personal favorite. I was paired with the artist Kurt Blecher, with colors handled by David Fox.
